I'm lifting wayfm. This is the Wally Show. That is new music from the band need to breathe off their album Caves and it is fantastic.

I love that it shows growth, but it still is them in all the right ways.

I was curious. We met them years ago when they were a baby band going out on the road opening up for Taylor Swift.

I wanted to know just how they have grown since that time.

I think we just were all adults. That's probably the number one thing.

You find out how much you need the other guys. I mean, all of us have kids now. It's just a lot more settled.

The ambition at that time was pretty poisonous, I would say.

I probably was like a leader of the pack in that, but we were all a little bit of a mess of like we would have done anything to get to that next level at the time.

I get that, though, man. I've always been super driven and I rolled over people in my mainstream radio career.

To the point where I had to go back and apologize to people.

You have some of those in your life. We definitely have my stories.

Some didn't work on stage or whatever. I saw it as you're getting the way of my career.

Yes. You know, we're working so hard at this every minute I have is going towards this.

And now this microphone doesn't work. It's your fault.

Yes. And did you blow up?

Oh, totally.

And I would throw things in all of it.
