Well, it's 6.30 in the morning, pitch dark outside. I'm just padding around

through the house, carrying a cup of tea around, trying to stay out the window to see if the

rain has actually stopped, which I think it has. Just getting all my bits and bobs ready to stick

in the pan here on my bike, because for some bizarre reason, I got into my head a few weeks ago

that I thought it'd be a good idea to cycle from London to Minehead. We'll be over three days.

Because today's Tuesday and on Thursday, I need to be down in Minehead because the following

morning, I start presenting, co-presenting the Darts, the Players Championship Finals on ITV.

And I check the weather forecast and I'm hoping it's going to be dry for the next three days as I go,

or first of all across London, then Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, you know, crossing England,
