I know that we've been trying to connect.

And, you know, for those listening, we actually got to connect a little over a week ago when you came and spoke at Cornerstone Church here in Leesburg. And it was, it was amazing message. And we got to speak briefly afterwards. So really happy to be on the show with you. Well, I'm glad to have you on the show. Now, there's so many things going on with you that I don't know where to start.

know where to start. I want to get your bio. We're going to talk about your book, which launches

today, June 17th, the anniversary of Bunker Hill. And we will talk about that in a second. But

your bio. I mean, what do you say when somebody says, you know, hey, who are you?

What have you done?

Like, what's your typical, you know, way that you say, I, you know, what do you lead with?

What do I lead with?

You know, it's funny because a lot of people look at the spelling of my last name, which is R.Y.U.N. It's pronounced rhyme, but it's spelled differently. And a lot of people go, are you related to that guy, the runner? Which, of course, I am. That's my father, Jim Ryan, just an incredible man, obviously, a three-time Olympian, world record holder in the mile, presidential medal of freedom. And, you know, been back in

D.C. the last 20 years. I came back when I graduated from the University of Kansas, that bastion of

conservatism. I say that with the deepest of sarcasm. And came back and wanted to experience D.C. for a

year or two. And here I am 20 years later, married to a beautiful woman and four kids, and really became

involved in politics.

And in many ways, Eric was actually inspired by Francis Schaefer.
