Summary

Hold on to your cowboy boots because this episode gets truly WILD. In episode 20, Karlin discusses us the sad and confusing story of the murder of Don Smith and his daughter Brenda, who was left wondering what happened after he paid her a drunken visit and then disappeared. Next, Alison tells the tale of Henry McCarty. Wait, no, William H. Bonney? Nahhh, it’s the legend himself, Billy the Kid! Alison walks us through a sh*tshow of shootouts and corrects some errors UM made in their telling of his story. And whatever became of Billy? Does Brushy Bill convince the ladies that he was the legendary Kid? Lastly, Eliza tells us the awful story of a true d*ckbitch and scumbag, police officer Charles Mule. With the help of true queen, Detective Kathy Porter, Mule was outed for committing crimes against abused children. Mule then evaded authorities, hiding in swamps like the actual monster that he was. The ladies discuss his horrific crimes and whether or not Mule was ever apprehended. We also choose our books for our Summer Reading Book Club and announce plans for a live listen of the Season One finale of Re-solved (and Unsolved) Mysteries!
