Kimberly had a near-death experience at 22.

In 1982, she founded Seattle International Association of Near Death Studies.

Kimberly is an international conference and workshop speaker, a consultant to news and entertainment media,

and has been published in many textbooks, journals, and magazines.

She worked for two decades as a clinical assistant professor at the University of Washington.

Simon, thank you so much for having me. I've been looking forward to this for quite a while, actually.

So we're going to talk about your background and your experiences, your near-death experience,

and you have a book out called After the Light, The Spiritual Path, The Purpose, and people can get that on Amazon, I suppose. Correct. It's like

the fourth version of the book. So there's a hardback with a different subtitle and then a

paper bath with a different publishing house with that subtitle and then a book on tape back in the day with another New York

publishing house, and now print-on-demand. But I got paid to do that because the paperback

publishing house was purchased, and my contract went with it and they had to pay me off for it.

So I'm one of the few print on demand authors that actually got paid to do it.

They didn't have to pay to do it.

But it was just the luck of the draw.
