another Rock and Roll Hall of Famer on D.I.J. today. I'm Tom O'Jernigas Tarrist and

founding member Neil Sean. Yeah boy and he has stories, upon stories. He's talking about

playing guitar and Carla Santana's band was still in high school. How he met

Herbie Herbert, the manager of help, Neil to start journey. His first introduction to

Steve Perry and how the two of them used to write songs back in the day, which was a

Wednesday. I'll quote Jack Slade on that one. And if you didn't know Journey were the first

big rock band to use giant screens and concert so that people way in the back or

up high in stadiums can see them. Neil explains would inspire that idea and how it

turned into a second business for Journey. He's also sitting there

record straight on tour sponsorships because Journey were the first band to have corporate

sponsors as well. And Neil says they got a lot of heat for it back in the 80s even though

it's a commonplace thing in 2018. Journey was the pioneer of that. Journey also pioneered

the Rock and Roll video game. He's going to talk about that R.K.E.K. graphics on that

one. Neil's also talking with Steve Perry's new solo record and how he feels about potentially

playing and recording with Steve in the future. A great conversation with a true legend

of rock and roll hall of favor coming up in just a second. Speaking of which also coming
