Now, it's time for some sanity.

It's the Michelle Tofoya podcast. All right. Do you know who

Neo is? We're going to play a little bit of his music. So maybe you'll recognize him. He's got a lot

of hit songs. He's worked with Pitbull. He's got a number of hit songs. So he went on a podcast, as many stars do, right?

They go and they talk about other stuff.

So he was talking about the transgender movement, as many people are these days.

And the things he said were not controversial.

I'll summarize it for you.

He basically said, you know, if a five or six year old boy comes to me and says, I want to be a girl, I'm not going to go slice him up in a surgery.

That's the essence of what he said. Well, as you might imagine, the trans community blew up, called his comments transphobic.

That word really bothers me because it doesn't mean that phobic is a fear, right, that you're

afraid of something.

It doesn't suggest to me that you're afraid of a trans person just because you don't want to mutilate your

own kid. That doesn't mean you're afraid of the trans community. That means you're making a

decision for your child that he or she is in no way competent enough to make as a young child.

And that's all he was saying. So, of course, backlash, backlash, backlash.
