The Big 12 conference has five teams in the second round of the NCAA tournament.

That's the most of any conference in the country.

So the Big 12 goes five and 3 in the first round.

There's no doubt there are disappointing losses across the board.

TCU falling to Utah State, BYU losing to Decane, and Texas Tech against NC State,

all disappointing.

But when you have the most teams of any conference in the round of 32,

you got to be pleased with that if you're the Big 12.

There's no doubt about it.

So when I look at this first round and I say the biggest and most impressive team to me was, fill in the blank, it was Houston on Saturday night.

Now, I know you're thinking 116 matchup.

What do you mean?

How is that impressive?

They beat Longwood by 40 points.
