So after managing to compete well with Clemson on the road in a game where again you had every opportunity to win.

Defense played overall pretty well, played two expectations against the Clemson team that

executed offensively. You know, they pitched it and caught it better than they had all

all season. Not because the coverage wasn't there, but just they actually caught balls that they

hadn't caught a good portion of the season. It's what you get sometimes. But overall,

the Florida State defense that played well continues to improve over the course of the season

as they've gotten some guys into into some spots where they fit better. That all bodes well.

And then you move into, well, you know, the offense is what they are.

They've got their limitations.

That's fine.

You feel pretty good going into the NC State game.

And then this week happens in terms of preparation and the flu bug that has been ravaging the Florida State campus.

And suddenly this game looks a lot less friendly.

There's been a significant portion of the team that has been impacted by that, including some very important players. And, you know, that's going to be one of the biggest factors in this

game is who's going to be able to play and how well were they really able to prepare over the course of the week for an NC state team that beat Clemson, that dominated Clemson, frankly.
