The Michael Berry Show is on the air. The new poll has President Trump up 4742. It's an NBC poll not exactly a pro-Trump organization.

It's a poll that we have a baseline for

because the same group that did the poll

has done multiples in November. From November until now the numbers

have trended toward Trump. Trump is up one percentage point, Biden down two percentage points, to extend the lead to five

points.

Now I understand, and you should too, that a national poll is only good as sort of a trend line.

It's good as a general feeling of goodwill because it's not a national election it's 50 separate

elections in other words if you were winning 99 to one in California but you were

dead tied in a bunch of other states, then it would skew those

results as opposed to if you were winning in the states that matter most, which are the states

that are in play, the purple states, the swing states, and you know what those are.

But the biggest issue for Trump, and New Hampshire proved this.

New Hampshire is not a border state, is immigration.

And now we have this Senate bill.

And now we know the details of the Senate bill and now that

they're out it is awful and that's not necessarily an accident.
