In this show, we're going to be hitting up top ads, players in the drop zone, and the best streamers that we can find. Doc, let's get started. How are you doing after uh how it's been like five days

of trade deadline madness like i don't know about you but i feel pretty uh pretty rough actually

what what did you think of the trek trade deadline were you it was it was it acceptable in terms of action?

No. No, no, no, no, no.

I think this, though, is the, it's kind of the last maybe a couple years of this past CBA or two,

where teams have been incentivized to extend all these, you know, players that don't really deserve the big money extensions.

And we're just at the logjam of like, there's nowhere for these players to go.

That tinfoil hat that I was liking to wear for the last couple months of, you know, so many bad players with so many big contracts that were able to maybe possibly get swapped out for each other. That wasn't going to

happen. Too many things needed to happen the right way. So it's just too much money.

You know, it's too much bad money floating around there. And I think you're starting to see

teams kind of pull back on offering that kind of money to players that either like can't play

defense or have some, you know, one or two major flaws in their game that they're not able to accommodate for at a championship or even like a top four in a conference level.

You know, so I hope that people get a little bit smarter with their pocketbooks at, you know, in the decision-making levels of the NBA.

Because I'd say about half these teams, when you watch what they do, you're just kind of like, man, are you like, kind of like in a fantasy league?

Like, are you still reading a paper magazine that gets published in August?

You know, are you like on a website that's actually updating you as you get closer to the draft?

So we'll have to see what this next CBA does.

But there was some decent movement.

And actually, you know, for fantasy GMs, I think there was a lot that's happened.

You know, the trade deadline itself wasn't as spicy and there wasn't a ton of big names flying around all over the place.
