fun one. We're going to be talking about which teams are most likely to meet or surpass expectations

over the next year, meaning the playoffs, the offseason, and even next season. It's a fun one.

It's Real GM Radio. Matt Moore is here. You know what that means. It's time for some tears. Matt, let's jump right in. What do we have for us today? All right. So we're doing something different. Because I think that's a nice moment in the season. We haven't started the playoffs. Playoffs aren't quite here yet. To look at the idea is, all right, this is the end of the season we got calendar year what team is best

position how are the team's best position to meet expectations so end of this regular season

playoffs off season next regular season we go through all that process who do at the end of it

we're going to be like yeah yeah, they've really met expectations.

They were just, they met them.

They got there.

They did what we thought they were going to do or that the public felt that they should do

or they capitalize on what their potential was, et cetera.

How best positioned are you to meet expectations over the next calendar year? I love this. This is a fascinating idea because not only does it put the teams under the microscope, right, and everything that they're doing, it also puts us under the microscope, too, in terms of what our own expectations are of some of these teams. I think this conversation could be really interesting. Let's jump right into your first tier.

All right. So the one, I did this by the theme is you're trying to get up a mountain. You're trying to climb up the mountain. The mountain is the expectation you're trying to get up there. Tier one is summit is in sight. So you can see, like you're there. Like you just got to make that last track. And that's the hardest part, but you got to just make that trek.

You got to get to where you're trying to get to and that spurs jazz the boss and celtics and the indiana pacer's um one of those teams is very surprising to me.

I did not think we would be talking about the Utah Jazz this early.

But I don't want to lead the show with the Utah Jazz, mostly for algorithm purposes.

So let's talk about either the Spurs or the Celtics.

The Spurs, I thought, that was the team.

When you told me that this was sort of the prompt ahead of time, I was like, yeah, the

Spurs are going to be tier one.
