I wanted to tier our NBA title contenders like the college football committee, Matt,

basically in order of how confident we are in them in the postseason.

So in honor of the college football playoff,

we were going to create our college football playoff style bracket for the NBA.

You and me, Matt, we're acting like the college football committee.

So I looked at their website.

They have a website and their principles for

selecting their 12 CFP teams. So they base it on strength of schedule, head-to-head competition,

comparative outcomes of common opponents without incentivizing margin of victory. I think they have a typo in their website, which is not surprising.

And other relevant factors such as unavailability of key players and coaches that may have

affected the team's performance during the season or likely will affect its postseason

performance.

In other words, the FSU rule.

I know we could do it in some other ways, too. If you win the division, perhaps,

I know you were talking to me before we started recording here. If you win your division,

maybe you get a top six seed. Maybe we include some buy weeks like they have in the college

football playoff. But I think where we need to start is just picking the 12 teams. Yeah.

And I have a pretty good idea of, you know, we have some locks, obviously.

This was pretty hard, I thought, as we kind of got down to the bottom, like eight to 12,

10 to 12.
