Each season, it feels like the first day of school when you start training camp.

You're still excited about it, and I think that's important because it means you still

have your love and you still get that same kind of excitement that you would get as a kid

when you let your outfit out and you set your jersey out and you put your shoes out and

you match up the socks and figure out what you're going to wear.

I'm really looking forward to this season.

Kentucky has the history of players being better than the NBA than they were in college.

There's a lot of situations to where guys aren't able to really show who they are because

of spacing because of utilization and once they get to the league they either blossom

or they become more than what people expect.

You want to take care of your body, you want to put yourself in a position to be as fresh

as possible for the playoffs.

As the season progresses, we'll look at dates to where maybe I'd take a lighter load

on in practice and see how that translates to how I feel.

I'm late in season but I just don't think we're in a place right now where we can just

pick games on the calendar and say, alright, we're going to sit these games because you never

know how the season's going to go.
