getting ready ahead of the big game with the Sixers and the Celtics. Celtics trying to close it out

tomorrow night. I love it. I'm going to ask you about that. Hey, Tim, I know you're not going to make it

about you. So let me make it about you for a minute. I want to get caught up on something.

You were elevated to ESPN's top NBA broadcast team. You've been announcing games

with Mike Brine and Richard Jefferson. I've got to ask, what has the experience been like

for you this season? And then how pumped are you to have the chance to call the NBA finals?

I'm incredibly excited, man. I'm just so, so honored that I'm, you know, in this position.

And do you be able to sit next to, you know, one of the greatest play-by-play broadcasters of all time? And Mike Breen, in any sport, by the way. That's not just basketball. I'm an icon. And then my buddy, Richard Jefferson and I have known each other a long time. And our chemistry, you know, now that we're sitting next to each other every night, has just grown and grown. We have a lot of fun, but I also think we have a lot of really great information on those broadcasts. So we're really proud of what we have created. Lisa Sultors as well, obviously, one of the legendary Sideland reporters. So we've got a great thing going, man. But, yeah, for me, it's just I'm so thrilled to be sitting in that seat, particularly as we now embark on this playoff run, and that's obviously going to lead up to our group on the Eastern Conference finals, every game, and then, of course, the NBA finals. It's the biggest stage of all, and I just cannot wait. Good for you. It's awesome. Great team, great watch. Tim Legler joining us. So, Tim, talking about the East, what about that? I mean,

after blowing out the 76ers yesterday, despite the return to Joel and B, the Celtics can wrap up that series with Philly tomorrow night in Boston. How much separation do you see right now between the Celtics and the rest of the contending teams in the East?

You know, the thing that stood out to me in this game with Philadelphia, and I was actually kind of chuckling a little bit because I'm watching all of these games. Obviously, I'm calling some, but I'm watching all of the other games, either live or the next day, you know, because I can't watch them all in the same night, if I'm traveling or whatever. and Jim, what's amazing to me is when I watch the Celtics.

Now, they have some nights where they shoot... you know, because I can't watch them all in the same night if I'm traveling or whatever. And Jim, what's amazing to me is when I watch the Celtics,

now they have some nights where they shoot, you know, a ton of threes, and they may have an off night. Game two was one of those nights. And we know that they had a couple of those last year in the postseason that really cost them in the next series. I know they're capable of that. but when they get it going, it doesn't look like any other team in this league from the three point line.

And so when you get into this rhythm where the shot quality is as good as it was the other night,

you don't really know what the answer is to slow this offense down.

When they play the way they did in game four, where they're not just intent on taking the very first half decent open look they get because that can bail out a defense if they take too many of those.

If they're intent on getting a better quality shot because somebody has broken someone down off the dribble or they have swung it out and the first guy didn't take it,

but it was that next pass that led to a better shot.

When they play that way with the number of guys that could hurt you from deep, there isn't
