So we just wrapped up the normal tape in a small ball with Kenny Beachum.

And as we're just chatting, I get a notification from Sean Sharania that said that Victor

William Yam is going to be out for the rest of the season with a blood clot in his right

shoulder.

A type of notification that you don't expect to get ever.

And that really changes the dynamic of, well, this season for the Spurs, but also for Victor Wemniama.

Blood clots are not like anything that we should be taken lightly, and I recognize that,

and hopefully he gets well soon.

We just saw Assar Thompson at the end of his rookie season also go out with a blood clot.

They said they believe it's an isolated incident, which is like the best case scenario,

I would assume, but I'm not a damn physician or anything.

It just really does suck.

And you know what I was doing?

I was just talking to one of the guys, and we were going through it.

And like, for the most part, for the most part, this has felt like a relatively

healthy season for the star players involved other than like Luca missing six weeks and

Joel and Bede missing the huge bulk of the season. Other than that, we've been kind of blessed

with our star players being active. And then this just hits a day after me having that conversation.

So I don't think that changed the context of the show that we just filmed, but I did want to take a second to kind of talk about it. Get well soon, Victor Women Yama. I mean, if we're just quickly talking about what this means, again, this is probably not even something they care about at this moment of time. They more care about Victor Women Yama. If we're thinking about what this means for the San Antonio Spurs the season, right now,

they have the 10th of best odds for the first overall pick with 20 odd games left.

And though Deere Fox as an acquisition is pretty cool without Victor Wimiyama,

I don't expect that team to be winning a lot of basketball games.
