Welcome to a little bonus edition of the No Dunks podcast. I'm Skeet here in Atlanta with Tassie.

This week, guys, we officially reached the halfway point of the NBA season.

Most teams have hit that magical 41 games played mark.

So it's time to take stock of each team's first half in an effort to prepare for what lies ahead.

So we're going to do this a little differently than some of the other podcasts, some of the other blogs out there.

We're not going to hand out grades like a lot of people do.

We're not going to lump teams into tiers or debate the award leaders.

What we're going to do here is we're going to take turns sharing one word or phrase

to best describe the team's season so far. Word association. We're going to try and do all 30

teams here, but in the interest of time, I'm going to try and keep a nice little pace going,

try and address each team two to three minutes tops.

We'll tackle these by conference alphabetically.

So let's start in the east with the Atlanta Hawks,

who just reacquired Jeff Teague in a little mini trade today.

What's one word or phrase to describe the

Hawks season so far.

I think bittersweet is perfect for them.

Bitter because they're at the bottom of the east, but so, so sweet finding Tray Young

and all that talent and watching it grow and blossom.
