Keep this in mind too.

At some point, Anthony Edwards is going to be due for a Supermax.

Minnesota is going to need to pay him.

They can't have three teams or three guys according to the collective bargaining

agreement on your roster that are Supermax players.

So Minnesota clearly thinking about now, but they are going to have to think about that

down the road as well.

I'd say at that point when he's an expiring contract, depending on how they time out.

But just an interesting wrinkle to think about.
