for a long time. So I thought you'd be the perfect person to bring on here a week before the

NBA trade deadline to pitch some ideas. But before we jump into that, some Deeran Fox talk,

tell me, what's the secret to constructing a good fake trade?

What's the thing that you're looking for? What's the key? You want to make as many people

mad as possible, obviously, so you get all the vitriol online that people think that you enjoy.

You know, the approach to it is I really do try to tackle it from the perspective of I want both

teams to say yes. And you invariably, I think, fail among their fan base. But I, I personally

agonize over every detail. My editors get annoyed when I'm talking about second round pick

protections because I'm trying to make it as balanced as possible. So I'm trying to get to a

point where at least both teams are having a discussion.
