I own college basketball podcast where we sometimes discuss,

Kamil fighting, Dodo Birds and Leaky Black, Matt Norlanda is here with me and as previously

noted at least once a week in advance of the 2021 NBA draft, scheduled for July 29.

We're going to be dedicating an episode of the I own college basketball podcast to a notable

prospect. Today we turn our attention to another possible pick for a UConn star James Booknight.

He is a six foot five guard from Brooklyn who played two seasons at UConn and in his sophomore

season average 18.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists and 31.7 minutes per game. He did that for

UConn team to finish third in the big east, lost to Maryland in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

Shot 44.7% from the field 29.3% from three and 77.8% from the free throw line. Some of my

graphs have him going in the top 10. I've seen him as high as number seven, but some others

still have him outside of the top 20. So deadlake, I know you are a believer in James Booknight.

You having higher than most. What makes you think James Booknight is going to be worthy of a top

10 pick in the 2021 NBA draft? I think that ultimately he is going to prove that his ability to play

on and off the ball. Good shot creator for himself. Good score. Good shooter. We can get into that

in just a second. I did have since we've last podcasted on our draft prospects. I did post my

one-year one point. Oh, there is no 2.0 mock draft where I basically try and project
