Welcome to the Fantasy NBA today podcast. It's NBA draft day, June the 22nd, 2023, the draft coming up. About seven hours or so from a recording time here, seven or

eight hours depending on how long the pre-draft festivities drag on.

This is Fantasy NBA today, a sports ethos presentation,

and I am your host Dan Bespris.

And today, we obviously have a whole bunch of NBA news to cover, but what I want to do is actually

push that off until either tomorrow or even Monday, because I think there's going to be more which I know is sort of a

dumb thing to to frame it as but you know it's not like we're in the heat of

fantasy draft season.

So anything we talk about right now doesn't have to be on this painful immediacy schedule.

In life, we come, we've, this era of the on-demand

everything where Twitter news breaks

and four seconds later the entire universe knows about it.

It wasn't always like this.

And I want to remind everybody that because we have this gap of time, it's a little bit silly, frankly, for us to talk about the big

trades that happened on Wednesday when there are likely to be more happening today.

There have been a couple little things that have trickled out.

No big trades this morning yet, just reports of guys that are on the block,

likely to be moved second round pick

swaps things like that though does those have already happened but again we still have

like a third of a day before before the, which is a lot of time for other guys to be either on the move or whatever.

I mean we had a whole bunch of stuff that happened like as the draft was shaking out last year and there's no reason to think that that couldn't happen again tonight.

So the massive Christops Porcingus Marcus Smartius Jones deal, and I have a lot of thoughts on that because it does pretty dramatically, I think, change the fantasy values of a bunch of different guys, many of whom were either on the cusp or were already like with
