Summary

Andrew Bogut is an Australian former professional basketball player. Born into a family of immigrants who had fled Croatia to escape socialism, he worked his way up to the National Basketball Association (NBA). The 7-foot center was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks with the first overall pick in the 2005 NBA draft. He earned All-NBA Third Team honors with the Bucks in 2010. He was traded to the Golden State Warriors in 2012, and was named NBA All-Defensive Second Team in 2015, when he won an NBA championship with the Warriors.
