All right, welcome on to our second awards pod of the season.

January is upon us, and it's time to check in once again on the state of what is

taken place so far this season.

And we got some bad news with Nicole Yokic now being out with this hyper-extended knee bone

bruise.

And that could really affect things

who's going to be coming up behind him. I think that's going to be a fascinating discussion.

So we'll get right into it here. First, so, Danny, should we just briefly tell people what this is?

What are we trying to do with these awards? What's our philosophy? How might it differ from some other

people's? what we are

trying to do here is assess these awards as if they as if the season was complete right now so this is

not predictive in any way shape or form um so if if we think that somebody's been playing over their

heads but they've been doing it the whole time and they'll get credit for that if we think somebody somebody's been playing over their heads, but they've been doing it the whole time, then they'll get credit for that. If we think somebody has been below expectations, but could be better, then we don't give them credit for that. It hasn't yet happen. Then, yeah, and so it's what we think is deserve it. We will tell when we do our criteria. So we have a little bit of a difference of opinion on all NBA. We will get to that when we get there.

But yeah, I think that it is, that's really the key thing to delineate if you're new to this, welcome,

is that this is analysis of the season that has been the part of the season is complete,

not what is to come.

Well, moreover, we're not going to try to predict what our colleagues are going to do.

This is not a prediction of who is going to win MVP or any of these other awards.

This is just who we think is most deserving of that on what's taken place so far this season.

So I can start off by saying, particularly since he's missed a little bit of time lately,

that Nicola Yolkich is going to be my number two, and Jay Gilgis Alexander is number one. I think I was,
