He's the owner/operator of Frozen Trident, a dog kennel he and his family founded in 2018 in Two Rivers, Alaska: the dog-mushing capital of the world. He's an Iditarod racer, having received the Red Lantern Award after racing with his own dogs along the wildly difficult long-distance annual sled dog race traveling 938 miles from Anchorage to Nome.
