for having me, Simon. I'm really, really excited to talk to you. So we're going to be talking about

your book. It's called Your Authentic Awakening,

a Guide to Everyday Spiritual Living. I wanted to ask, first of all, did you always have a

spiritual interest from when you were small, or was it a thing you were kind of atheist or agnostic?

And then there was a particular incident that caused you to seek out spirituality.

What a great question. And I love how you phrased it because the answer is yes. I know it's an or question, but the answer is yes. It's both. So growing up, I was interested in spirituality, particularly outside of religion. So I did have

some religious upbringing, not a huge amount. I mean, we didn't go to church all the time.

And there were large periods of time where we didn't go to church at all. But I was always curious about what was going on kind of in the unseen realms.

And as I went into my older teenager years, I was really attracted to books that had

like near-death experiences, which your amazing book has, you know,

captured my interest because of that. What an amazing book you have written on that topic.

It's such an expansive topic. But also anything, you know, on angels and those kind of like

non-religious experiences that people
