Jubert, who is a covenant member at Fielder Church in Grand Prairie, Texas, where he serves as a

commissioned shepherd, Bible teacher, and church planning resident. He earned his BA in communication

theory from Dallas Baptist University and is currently pursuing a master of theological studies

at Grimke Seminary in their school of urban ministry.

I had asked Canaan to come on the show because he experiences bisexual attractions.

And I realized I have not talked to somebody in a long time about this specific topic.

So I just had Canaan to come on and share his journey as he's wrestled with his faith and his sexuality.

Why don't I start just with the main question?

When did you first experience bisexual attraction?

And what was that like for you?

Yeah.

I mean, first, brother, thank you.

It's been fun getting to know you over the past year. It feels like it's longer, but, you know, this is wild. I don't know. It feels weird. I'm just here. So, but yeah, I experienced as long, not as long as I can remember. I do remember the first time I had a crush on a girl.

I was like eight years old. And I was like, ah, she's pretty. I have butterflies in my tummy when I look

at her, you know, that type of thing. And then I was very confused, like kind of a few months later
