There are two things that I kept reminding myself that I'm extremely grateful for going through it,

even when I was just depressed as hell. And number one was that I didn't have kids. And then number two,

and this was hard for me to see at the time, because when you're that depressed and going through

that kind of upheaval, it's hard to have hope. I've never felt more hopeless and more

helpless ever in my life. And all I could focus on was the negative. He's going to take my

business and he's hurting my feelings all the time. One thing that helped me is I was on the phone

with my parents maybe two nights before my mediation and I was so stressed out. I was so anxious

because I wanted to

fight for myself and I wanted to get what was here. And my dad helped remind me, he can't hurt you

anymore. And my dad was like, he's already lost. You are going to win in the long run no matter what.

And I realize he could take everything I have. He could take my business. He could dwindle our

estate down to zero.

But at the end of the day, he can't take away my knowledge and my ambition and my drive and my experience. And I knew I would build it all back and more.

And that's what finally kept me going once I got to that mindset.

And thank God, because it's very, very true.

And now I see that that is very true.
