lucky to be exploring one nation that to many of us feels it has been

teleported from the future. Famous for its remarkable internet start-ups like

Skype, TransferWise and others. Estonia is widely regarded as having one of the most sophisticated digital

governments in the world. Like so many other nations it is now facing up to the

COVID-19 pandemic and by all reports giving a good account of itself.

So I'm delighted to be joined today by the President of Estonia,

Her Excellency Mrs. Kieluride,

to better understand this remarkable nation, its response to the pandemic and how it is preparing for a future world of exponential technologies.

Good morning, hello everyone.

To an outside observer, Estonia seems to have coped well with COVID-19.

You have a very high rate of testing, you have a lower level of patients in intensive care

compared to some of the Nordic countries including Finland your nearest Nordic

neighbor in general the country seems to have responded quite well.

First and foremost, yes, we have been spared of the worst so far,

but you always have to add so far. Comparing numbers between neighboring countries

doesn't help you today very much because the start of the epidemics
