My guest today is Jessica Fern. Jessica's a psychotherapist who specializes in providing

support for individuals, couples, and people in multi-partner relationships.

Jessica's groundbreaking book is called Polysecure, Attachment, Trauma, and Concentral Monomenogamy.

In it, she explores the principles of attachment theory in non-monogamous relationships,

which is a practice of having multiple sexual and or romantic partners at the same time.

And everyone in this type of dynamic is aware and consents to it.

What I found brilliant in Jessica's work and research are the connections she drew between

non-monogamy and attachment theory. Attachment theory or styles, as you may have heard,

is a framework for understanding the patterns and form how we relate and bond to others.
