Summary

Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with Pete Alonso talking about the Mets effort this weekend in their sweep in their first home series. David Peterson felt nauseous on the mound and we all breathed a sigh of relief as it looked like a back or arm injury at first. The Yankees lost to the Pirates in extras yesterday but did win the series. The Knicks beat the Suns and OG Anunoby had a great game as he was 13-of-17 from the field. The UCONN women won the NCAA tournament. Jim Nantz was crying as his Houston Cougars beat Duke. We heard the radio call as Ovechkin broke Gretzky’s goals record. We then heard from Gretzky himself on the ice after the record was broken and then Ovechkin spoke.
