0:14.2	of what we expect. And you're trying to behave all positive and everything. But holy crap,
0:19.8	all you want is for your dog to stop.
0:22.8	What can you do? That's the question that's coming today. I've got 10 different examples

0:44.3	if you've been following our program, you know that there's three things that we can do in
0:49.3	response to what our dogs are doing. Number one, we can ignore the behavior, like tolerate it, hope it's going to
0:56.3	get better. That's rarely, rarely a good plan. You know, in some incidences, possibly,
1:03.5	but not very often. The other thing we can do is manage. That is, we could put the garbage up
1:09.3	on the counter so our dog doesn't get into the garbage when we go out for the night. That's managing. Or yay, we could put the garbage up on the counter so our dog doesn't get into the
1:10.9	garbage when we go out for the night. That's managing. Or yay, we can dog train it. That involves
1:17.3	having a plan and executing that plan. Where does the plan come from? Well, ideally it comes from
1:24.0	a dog training expert like myself, a mentor that you look up to that you go,
1:28.6	holy crap, her dogs are really well behaved. And in addition to that, holy crap, look at all
1:34.2	her students' dogs. They're really well behaved too. That's what I want. That's where you get your
1:39.2	plan. Okay, so there's three things you can do. You can ignore it, manage it, train it. Now,
1:44.2	in order to train it, you're going to have to manage the situation. And that's what this
1:50.5	is a lot of times is about. It's about mismanagement or just ignoring it and hoping it's going
1:56.9	to get better. But let's dig a little deeper because there's some layers to this.
