I was really looking for something that would make a change.

Something really needed.

Plus, drastically cutting calories lengthens the life of mice with an aging syndrome.

It's like tripling the life expectancy, and that is unprecedented in a mammalian system.

When he was a kid, Guillem Anglada Escude was really into space.

Yeah, space exploration, being an astronaut, this kind of things,

to do something a bit beyond Earth.

As he grew up, nothing about that really changed.

I wanted to be physicist, probably, and explore.

He did a PhD in astrophysics.

Even now, he reads a lot of science fiction.

I've always been a lot into science fiction.

I thought it was wonderful to find things that look like planets,

that look like our planet, to find places beyond the solar system.
