air-loom flowers. The way that I grew up and the way that we have gardens for decades now has been mainly focused on food

That's been our main goal is to make sure we are getting food out of our efforts and our

But about two to three years ago I really

decided that I wanted to bring in more beauty and to do so with flowers and

to have things in the flower beds and in our gardens here on the homestead.

Now some of those flowers have medicinal purposes so they are things of beauty and they also are

edible and have medicinal purposes which is pretty amazing.

But I made it a goal that things didn't have to have this sole purpose of feeding us or working in our

National Medicine Garden to have a home on our homestead that they could just be for the pure pleasure of looking at it.
