Hey, Nats fans, Tim Schovers here with a quick report after the Nats and Braers were rained out on Wednesday evening.

That game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Tuesday, September 16th when the Braves are back in town. Next game for both teams on Thursday night in D.C. My hunches to McKenzie Gore will get the start instead of Trevor Williams. This week originally, Trevor Williams is supposed to start on Wednesday, Gore on Thursday.

My guess is Davey gives the ball to the left-hander.

Gore leads all the baseball in strikeout so far this season.

He has 84 Zach Wheeler in second place at 80.

A few other notes pregame, it was announced that Dylan Cruz placed on the 10-day IL,

and that officially meant that Robert Hassel. The third was called up to the big league,

so we'll see what happens in the lineup on Thursday. That does mean that Jacob Young is still

on the active roster. Remember, he crashed into the wall on Saturday in Camden Yards and was

removed from the game.

Rochester played an afternoon game on Wednesday in which they lost five to two, but

Dailan Lyle, the center fielder and Brady House each had a single. Lyle is crushing it so

far for the Red Wings. Keep his name in mind as a potential call up as the season progresses

in the outfield for the

nationals. By the way, pinch hitter and DH, who drew a walk in his only play in appearance

for the Syracuse Mets, Joey Meneses. While I have you here, just want to remind you that we do
