Obviously with the situation in Ukraine right now for the last I think almost two years now

Russia invaded Ukraine. Everything in Europe looked very strange for a bit

because people had kind of presumed that there was never going to be war again in Europe like that,

I think for some reason, or at least it felt like people

thought that now there's all sorts going on with NATO talk about NATO this that

and a third England actually this morning like our government for some reason was just like make sure you stock up on canned food and stuff like this because yeah we might

Die or something which is like that's not quite what they said but that's like everybody's

presumption of war is coming I don't think there is I don't think Russia is ever

gonna actually launch an attack on NATO anytime soon but you think it's more of a possibility than I think it is, let's say, like that.

So do you want to kind of explain why is it you think this?

Yeah, and of course I'll caveat this right away.

I don't think that the following is likely,

but I think that it's more likely than it has been in the past

and thus is worth attention, right?

So as you stated, you know, the war in Ukraine really ratcheted up tensions in Europe and we immediately saw things like a lot of European countries such as Germany, spiking their defense budgets, which is, you know, unusual and rare, especially in the case of Germany.

So that kind of builds tension in the background,

but as this war has ground on and we're reaching more and more of what looks like kind of a stalemate on a battlefield

where neither side is able to make any lightning advances,
