Well, today marks the 50th anniversary of US troops returning home from the Vietnam war.

The date is recognized annually as national Vietnam war veterans day.

And so obviously marks 29 1973.

It's a day that should be talked about more in the history of this country.

It is not because as with most things with people who fought in Vietnam,

they have been completely discarded and thrown away.

And yes, as you said, they disbanded, disestablished the US military assistance

command on this day.

And it was also the last day that US troops were in Vietnam.

Now, some other things did happen, some different aid, etc.

The, you know, the fall, sci-gon later.

But, but for all intents and purposes, in terms of US involvement,

active military involvement, this is the day.

And so today we, I had kev kind of opened the segment with Barry McGuire's
