But I'm afraid the news is rather darker than that because this morning the news is only really one big story.

And that is, of course, the grooming gang scandal that is now enveloping not only an awful lot of members of the Labour Party. But this entire Labour government and indeed

the Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer, no wonder he decided to be a great idea to go over to Canada

and hang around with the G7 leaders, because quite frankly, he doesn't really want to be here. Why?

Because on the front pages this morning, there is a literally of shame and absolute and utter

scandal surrounding not only what this government said in January

that basically we didn't need a national grooming gang's inquiry because we've already had one.

But more than that, it now looks as though the left establishment and that means people like

Sir Kier Stama all the way through his career, even when he was running the CPS, that's

the Crown Prosecution Service, you talked so highly of, even when he was running the CPS, that's the Crown

Prosecution Service, you talked so highly of. Even when he was doing that, there was a left-wing

establishment cover-up. Front page of the Sun today, I think, says it all. Betrayed by the state,

rape victims failed over race fears. This, of course, is the Baroness Louise Casey report,

devastated report, as they call it, which was published yesterday,
