longtime head football coach. I know a lot of folks from the Bay listen to this show and me being a bay cat and knowing John Beam pretty well as far as what he's been able to do there in the Oakland

community there at Laney College and was a part of Last Chance, you. That's where most people

probably saw him at.

He actually got shot on campus on Thursday. I saw that first on ABC 7 News. They reported that. I know he went to the hospital. There was a lot of conflicting reports of what was going on, what kind of condition he was in, so I'm not going to speculate. But if prayer is something that you do and believe in, as I do, John Beam and his family,

coach John Beam and his family could definitely use some prayers right about now, and hopefully he's able to recover from that senseless violence that happened on the campus of Laney College

on Thursday. Apparently, Skyline High had some senseless violence going on there as well.

So I know I reached out to a few of my folks that I know really well out in the Bay just to find out what was going on and nobody had a concrete answer. So again, I'm not going to speculate on the condition of Coach John Beam, but just know that that was very bad when I saw that on Thursday. So just want to make sure to pass that along first and foremost. Then I want to get into the Raiders injury report for Thursday. We'll get another one later on this afternoon. We'll get one on Saturday. And then, of course, on Monday, Monday night football, 90 minutes before kickoff. We'll find out who's inactive. For the Raiders in week 11, not too bad as far as their injury report. Tyler Lockett dealing with a knee injury was limited

on Thursday. Cody Lindenberg, the linebacker dealing with an Achilles injury did not participate.

That's something to be very careful with. Make sure they pay attention and don't push him out there
