It is Tuesday night, January 11th, the Overlord,

2022 jam-packed high atop downtown Nashville,

Tennessee, right home from Indianapolis where 24 hours ago we witnessed history,

witnessed the Georgia Bulldogs secure their first national championship in multiple generations,

depending on how you define a generation. Obviously, we've got full wall-to-wall reaction,

haven't been to sleep yet, so I've got my eyelids duct tape to my forehead, but we wouldn't miss

this one for the world. Georgia native right here. And so I feel uniquely qualified to talk about this.

The I-Josh has blown up. I've got, as we speak, 119 unanswered text messages, which may be irresponsible, but we had a show to

focus on, so I'll get to that later tonight. It is a very, very celebratory day in Georgia. We are

going to talk from every angle about this national championship win. We will also talk about it from

the Alabama angle. A lot of transfer portal entries today,

including guys that you saw start the game last night. So there's a lot of transition happening

there. We'll talk about that secondary. If you win the game, you lead the show. We're going to talk

about George in just a second. Also, now that the 2022 season or 2021 season has a bow on it, we're going to talk about it in totality just a little bit. We're not going to dive fully into it. We're going to do that in the next couple of shows. But the Renaissance season is now a wrap. What a Renaissance season it was. I asked on Twitter a little while ago, is this the best season that you can remember? some of you said, well, from my personal fan point of view, no, because my team didn't do good. But pretend like you're

agnostic. You don't have a specific team you pull for. You're just watching the season this year.

Guys, even if you say it's not, it has to be way up there. I mean, we reestablished a lot of stuff

in this sport this year that certainly was solely lacking in 2020, but I thought had been lacking maybe just a little bit even before that. Great, great experiences. We were on the road 16 weeks plus early signing day this year, and it's been really fun. And of course, it culminated last night with, again, history.

We saw red and black confetti rain down from the ceiling in Indianapolis.
