We are a few days away now from the Ohio State Alabama National Title Game.

We're going to have on our Ohio State beatwriter for the athletic Bill Landis in a little bit.

And we're also going to hit a lot of your mailbag questions, including some pretty notable topics

right now, Bruce, in terms of the Texas coaching change, Trevor Lawrence coming off of the

Heisman ceremony, he just officially announced he's turning pro, question about Texas A&M,

and some more discussion that we had the other night about what Notre Dame needs to do

to ascend to the next level and win a national title.

We are pleased to be joined now by Bill Landis, the excellent Ohio State writer for the athletic.

This is obviously a very fluid situation, but as of this recording on Wednesday afternoon,

what's your understanding of their COVID situation?

That came up quite a bit on Tuesday about whether the game might be possibly affected by it.

Gene Smith, Ohio State's AD, saying, no, we plan to play on Monday.

Yeah, they haven't stopped preparing.

They have had some positives come up.

And that's been the case since they had to cancel the Illinois game.

It sort of flared up for them then and has never really gone away.

They've had it in a place where they've been able to play since canceling that Illinois

game.

But it's been day to day almost.
