Now, we've just experienced the most defining week of the election season so far, and it has become crystal clear.

Surprise, surprise.

Joe Biden and Donald Trump are headed for a rematch in November.

Now, if you're not a big social media person, I meant the surprise part sarcastically.

And it wasn't long before they crossed paths while they were both on the road

trying to reach voters in a critical

swing state. Yesterday, in a sneak peek of what's in store, the two candidates held competing

campaign events about 60 miles from each other in Georgia. Now, Georgia is a particularly

interesting case. It's a contentious battleground state that both Biden and Trump each one before

in past presidential

elections. Sticking to the script of his state of the union address, President Biden emphasized

the difference between his optimistic view of America versus Trump's dark and angry rhetoric.

He also continued to highlight that aspect of his campaign when he sat down with the name

Jonathan Capehart for an exclusive interview yesterday and explained why he regrets using the term

illegal during his address on Thursday night.

And I shouldn't have used illegal.

I should have.

It's undocumented.

And look, when I spoke about the difference between Trump and me, one of the things I talked about on the border was that his way he talks about vermin, the way he talks about these people polluting the blood, I talked about what I'm not going to do, what I won't do.

I'm not going to treat any of any of these people with disrespect.

Look, they built the country.
