Today, however, we're not reviewing consult, but are interviewing the historian Nathan Amin in particular on his book on the Beaufort family and a little bit on the early tutors to say she ate Ali's curiosity about Jasper Tudor.

Okay, so we are very excited to be joined on the podcast today by the historian Nathan Amin. Nathan, thank you very much for joining us on Rex Factor.

Now, people, as a warning for people at some point, Ali may chaotically and in a crazy jumble join the podcast as people won't be surprised to know that things have gone wrong and Ali hasn't quite managed to lock in yet.

First of all, Nathan, would you mind just explaining to the listeners who you are and what you do?

Yeah, I'm a historian and author originally from West Wales, the birthplace and home of the tutors.

And I essentially write with a deep focus on the Wars of the Roses and the very first Tudor King Henry VII, Henry VII as anyone who follows me will know by now.

I do like to keep on hammering on the point. He was a Welshman. He was a Welsh King of England and that is a fact that has often been lost.

So hopefully I am doing some work in bringing that fact back to the fore whilst also focusing on the Beaufort family during the Wars of the Roses.

Yeah, and it's particularly the Beauforts that we'd like to speak to you today, although I guess a quick question I'll ask is that as you said,
