I am really glad to be with you.

I've really come to take comfort in setting this time aside to connect with you.

I think it's because over the years, so many of you have reached out to me and shared that you are also taking some

comfort in these moments. So I have you in my thoughts and in my heart, and I'm just feeling grateful.

I'm also feeling excited and kind of unsettled for you to hear today's talk with Nathan Oxenfeld.

I will tell you why I'm feeling a little unsettled by it in just a few moments.

But first, I'm just wondering, how are you?

Are you doing okay?

I hope so.

I have some very exciting news.

My house is all a buzz

because we have adopted into our home two young kittens.

And the circumstances that brought this about are, to me, quite fantastic.

My eldest daughter, Roslyn, she's nine years old, and she is an animal lover.

For as long as I can remember, as soon as she was able to walk and we were out about in the

neighborhood, when dogs came around, she was always going to them, she was never running away

from them.

She's always had a natural affinity towards animals.

And she has been lobbying hard for us to get a cat for well over a year now. And, you know,
