Avs win over the Minnesota Wild 5 to 2, or should I say Nathan McKinnon wins over the Minnesota Wilde.

Kind of one guy to them tonight for the most part.

It was awesome.

I mean, we'll talk about Nathan McKinnon plenty in this show.

Let's do the 60 second rundown before we go too crazy with it.

Aves get on the board first, a nice little power play action from Lekin, and good to see Nathan McKinnon with the setup,

of course. But the Avs power play has been a good bit better of late, finding ways to be productive.

They even end up going up to nothing in this game in the first period. Why? Because Nathan

McKinnon is pretty good at hockey, it turns out. He's also pretty fast. Zach Bogosian might know a thing or two about how fast Nathan McKinnon is. Not the only defenseman to get turned inside out by that guy tonight. Unfortunately, the abs follow that up by doing the thing they do in the first period. They give up two goals to Minnesota. Both of them on the penalty kill. The Aves PK continuing to struggle a little bit.

That would be it for Minnesota scoring, though.

The Aves would get the next go-ahead goal from Kail McCarr,

who also played great tonight.

And then Nathan McKinnon would score two more for a hat trick on the night.

To win this game 5-2, the third period was academic and nothing happened.
