Yet another chance to hold ourselves accountable and compete a little bit as we have is our third year now of doing this.

Danny and I will see who did the best in terms of over-unders though it still is actually a little bit up in the air.

I think it's more interesting though to talk about where our predictions were right, where our predictions were wrong,

about these teams try to learn from it and just take a stock of the season in review as well.

So why don't we get rolling with the Eastern Conference here, take a look at our over-unders.

The Atlanta Hawks, both of us are going to lose this one, their over-under was 24, and note we did this in early October.

So the lines were maybe a little bit different before as then they were at the very start of the season

and there are a few injuries that happened before the start of the season so we'll note that we're appropriate.

But we had both had the Hawks under 24, they are now projected to win 29 games,

they have already proved us wrong here, where did we go wrong with the Hawks?

They do have the point differential perqueting the glass of a 25-win team so they've actually outperformed

their point differential by more than any team in the NBA as of this moment.

So that's a notable part of this but also Trey Young, we thought he was going to be awful as a rookie

and he has been defensively but he's been pretty damn good offensively and that's really keyed

a lot of what Atlanta has done. We both thought they would be terrible defensively they have and

but being 1074 offensive rating that's a few points per 100 possessions better than I expected

and that can easily make a difference of a few wins.

Yeah I mean they still are 26th on offense and 27th on defense and we knew their defense was

going to be terrible I think there was no way it wasn't I was very concerned that their only two

ball handlers were young and Jeremy Lynn and we just didn't know that young was going to be this

good we thought we he would have some flashes with his passing we thought he'd struggle with his

shot selection with turnovers that proof to be the case early on in the season and again I mean
