Hey, as we wind down the year, I wanted to take a second to thank you folks for listening

throughout 2017, or for jumping on board if you've discovered the show more recently.

This has been a weird year for me, which I think is a sentiment that is going around.

But to have the show really thriving, to have had so many cool things happen professionally,

you know, to have performed in five different countries, like from a field in Tasmania to

the HM of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

It's kind of amazing.

And to not only have a book of memory-palestories translated into Portuguese and published in

Brazil, but to have that book become kind of a hit there and be well reviewed.

And it was just for hooded the third best book of the year by this poll of critics and authors

and stuff.

And this prestigious literary magazine there.

And it's incredible.

It really is.

But it has also been strange to have my professional life go so well this year, as so much of what

I value in the world at large seems to be getting stripped away on a daily basis.

And I suspect I'm not alone in feeling that way in some way.

So I'm just going to keep my head down and keep plugging away in the show over here.

But I hope you will join me wherever you are in keeping your head down and keeping doing the work

necessary and raising our voices out there to make for a better 2018.

But before we go off, I will leave you with one thing.
