Australian teenager Natasha Ryan (14) was having some difficulties in 1998.   Her parents had divorced and she had been experimenting with drugs and alcohol.

One morning in August 1998, Natasha’s mother dropped her off at school.  Her daughter never made it home.

For years, police and the family searched for Natasha.  It was believed that she was possibly a victim of Leonard Fraser, a serial killer that had been operating in the area.  Fraser was charged with the murder of Natasha, as well as other women.

During Fraser’s trial, an anonymous tip was called in to police.  They searched a house in Rockhampton, Queensland.  Natasha was found alive and well, hiding in a cupboard.

Weirdly, oh, 2025, not to like talk about the weather like we always do, but there was a cold thunderstorm here yesterday. It's been like in the 30s, very, very cold from some

0:55.2

cold front in Canada. And I don't know if everyone has experienced a cold weather thunderstorm,

1:00.7

but it's a little different than a warm one because the thunder sounds so different. It's crazy.

1:06.6

And apparently it's because, you know, Mia failed a meteorology student. Just wanted to know, like, about it. So I was reading. Because there's like hot air in the upper atmosphere and the cold air underneath. And the hot layer kind of like traps in the sound waves. So when there's thunder, it goes on forever. And it feels like an earthquake. It literally was like shaking my whole house. Even my sister was texting me. She lives close by. She was like, what the hell is up with this thunder? It's ridiculous. It's really scary. I don't know if I have ever experienced to cold weather one. I probably have. But yeah, that's insane. I don't know. Even online, like everybody was like, what is up with this thunder? It's so weird and crazy and

loud. It literally was like an earthquake. It was rumbling my whole house. So that's, that's

Yeah, yeah. Yeah, just summer's here. Even like last night we were sitting on the couch, I said to my husband, can you smell smoke? And we could. I don't know where it was coming from, but anyway, it was fine. Yeah, no, it's been nice. Yeah, not too much rain. Yeah, sunny, hot, getting warm.

2:27.5
