Pediatric nurse practitioner is an advanced practice registered nurse and we specialize in the care of newborns, infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school-aged children, adolescents, young adults.

We can diagnose, we treat, we can prescribe, do school physicals, we check on developmental milestones,

immunizations, well child exams, all of that. With a PNP, you can choose to be primary care or you can

choose to be acute care. I chose primary care, which would put me more in the outpatient clinics,

and if I had chose acute care care that would be more like working in
