We were going in there on a Thanksgiving day and a writer from the son Tatler at that time wrote an article saying that we were going to be Thanksgiving dinner for the Cardinals because they had all the superstars and they named off Jim Hart, Terry Metcab, J.D. Kane, Conrad Dopp, you know, I mean you name it. And the Dolphins only had Shula as if we didn't have any stars.

Of course when we read the article we were all pissed.

You know, with thinking on that team you got Bob Greasy, you got Jim Langer, you got Larry Little, all Hall of Fingers.

Okay.

I was on that team, Duryo Harris, and they gave us no chance to win. Or this writer gave us no chance to win.

Or this writer gave us no chance to win.

We had Bob Kuchingberg, should have been a Hall of Fame

the next morning he wrote a worse article,

and the guy actually traveled on the team playing with us.

I mean, the next morning you can hear a pin drop it was so sadly because she'll never defended us.

So we were just pissed. We went out and beat the dog crap. I had a big old brawl.

We won the fight. 23 guys got fined.

But after the game was over with we're celebrating and Coach gives his speech. The first guy through the door

was Ed Plaisded, the writer. And Coach got him and drug him all the way through the locker

and threw him in the shower and turn the water

off. I think this day that's the reason that Ed Pope fell out of love with him and he

never made it to the Hall of Fame.
