I'm your host, Brandon Hall, and I have a couple guests sitting in with me today, one you've been with before, another one new to the show.

Go ahead and introduce yourselves.

Hey guys, it's Brett Sharp again.

All right, Brett.

And if you don't mind real quick, just a quick overview of your background and things like that.

If people haven't heard you on the show before.

Yeah, if you haven't heard, i think it was on the tornado episode

and then we did a short story sharing episode and i was on that one too i've been a dispatcher with

metro nashville for coming up on four years now i do police fire and call taking all right cool

and our other guest today is kenny hutchins and kennie what if, what's your background in the whole now and one field?

Well, right now I work for TDOT, but I started out at Sumner County EMS.

We did EMS and volunteer fire.

I did that for 10 years, and I worked for Portland Police Department where we dispatched

police and fire, and I did that for about five years.

Now, you mentioned TDOT. Now what

for, I mean obviously I know what it is but for listeners don't know what does that stand for

what do you do out there? It stands for Tennessee Department of Transportation. Okay.

Basically what we do is we monitor all the cameras. We have over 300 cameras on the interstate

and we sit in a room and we monitor all the cameras. We everything that goes on and when people call Metro Nashville 911 for help or

something on the interstate we look for it try to figure out where they are and try to

help send the appropriate units yeah and that's real helpful for the police and
